NOTE: Johnny & Lynx Records go way back. Johnny used to book rap shows at Alfies in the early 90’s and Lynx artists were often on the card. It was Lynx who first saw Johnny “DJ High-Q” and John “Jus The MC” perform as D.V.S.

We got a call at about 2PM saying we didn’t have a sound man. No problem because Johnny knows how to run sound from the days of being a sound engineer. But then we find out the sound system isn’t hooked up. Gebulars drummer is actually a certified technician so we think, “no problem” and we still move on.

Come to find there is a vital piece missing from the entire system that prevents us from moving forward.

What to do what to do! Johnny runs home and grabs some of his sound equipment, the band hooks up to a makeshift sound system using monitors and amps and we are able to tape the show.

The show could be the best to date. The audience was so loud and motivated (most came to see Gebular rock the house). Paul Silvi actually had a guy want to come on stage to shake his hand (which he did). Betsy Siedel was such a fun and happy guest and then of coarse Gebular rocked our a$$es off.

Our musical guests have gotten gigs from appearing on the Johnny Manson Show! And not your everyday gigs. Erica Corbin was asked to open for Steel Magnolia AND for Robert Cray! Shawn Bebea opened for Josh Turner.  And all of the musical guests have gotten calls for gigs.

We hope to continue to showcase our wonderful talent and show the world just how great the Twin Harbors is. If you know of an artist or band that may want to appear on the show, use our CONTACT PAGE.

The Jist Of The Plan:
After school is out, and kids graduate, many don’t continue music. Most just throw the instrument in the attic and there it sits. Gathering dust. What we want to do is get those instruments out of the closet and into the hands of kids whom can’t afford to buy or rent an instrument but would like to play.

This recycling program will have terms that the student would have to agree to. Things like: if they quit, they would have to return the instrument so a child who would like to play can use it. I have more details hashed out but you get the idea?

I really should have done something years back when I first came up with it but hey, life happens right? Help me out.
